Izanagi!

Adult Goku doesn't have 'layers'. His 'rivalry' with Piccolo tapered off as soon as the Saiyan Arc rolled around and his rivalry with Vegeta lasted until the Trunks saga. After that, Goku wasn't interested; Vegeta was the only one obsessed with it.

He's just a one-note character now. His desire to have a good fight rules all of his decisions and he never developed.

Again in DragonBall GT it wasn't really him.

Also DragonBall GT was nothing like the original DragonBall, like I also said before.

DragonBall is better than those shows, other than maybe arguably One-Piece.

How d'ya develop a character & manga completed 20 years back.

Its understandable if Akira Toriyama was on a hiatus or sumthing for 20+ years and the manga was still stuck in Mid-Android Arc.

Guy, the character himself have completed his life cycle, frm being a Student-to-Father-to Universal Hero-to Grandad-to Teacher.

Kid Goku is awesome. He actually show freaking feelings. What pisses Mr off about Adult Goku and especially in modern day DBZ is that he's all about fighting. He cares about fighting more than his friends. He'll do anything to fight. While as a kid he actually had other traits about him. He was alsomore skillful iinstead of a power levels guy. Lastly he cared for a grand adventure. Goku these days don't go anywhere unless it's training.

Let me say this, Kid Goku (DB) and Kid Goku (GT) are not the same, and they aren't even close. I truly feel they should be looked at differently, more than they are, much like SHC was trying to say.

Kid Goku was so care free and clueless what a lot of things are. And had no manners. Its what made dragonball so fun to watch. And I have to agree that kid Goku in GT was a lot different.
